Drafter

Job Description:

The HVAC Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed fabrication shop drawings for HVAC systems based on project specifications and client requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, attention to detail, and proficiency in CAD and Revit software. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and field technicians to ensure accurate and efficient design execution.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed fabrication ready HVAC shop drawings and 3D models using AutoCad and Revit software. Interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and specifications Collaborate with engineers and project managers to refine designs Ensure all drawings comply with industry codes and standards Revise drawings based on feedback and project changes Maintain organized drawing files and documentation Assist in estimating material quantities and project costs

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an HVAC Drafter or similar role Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, Navis Works Knowledge of HVAC systems, building codes, and industry standards Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Previous experience with piping design and layout a plus A relevant technical diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, or relevant work experience is preferred
