Senior Mechanical Designer Confidential Cincinnati, OH 45242 $82,976.30 - $99,928.44 a year - Full-time $82,976.30 - $99,928.44 a year - Full-time We are a small, established manufacturing company based in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area that designs and builds custom equipment for specialized industrial applications. We focus on delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to meet unique customer requirements. Duties Create detailed mechanical drawings and schematics using CAD software. Collaborate with engineers and project teams to develop and refine mechanical designs for custom equipment. Apply technical knowledge to ensure designs are accurate, functional, and manufacturable. Prepare and revise technical documentation, including assembly instructions, bills of materials, and specifications. Conduct research and gather information to support design decisions and improvements. Review and analyze existing designs for potential enhancements or modifications. Work with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables. Skills Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Inventor). Strong mechanical design skills, including the ability to create 2D and 3D models, drawings, and schematics. Experience with technical writing for assembly instructions and product specifications. Solid understanding of drafting standards, GD&T, and engineering best practices. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a team environment.
Pay:
$82,976.30 - $99,928.44 per year
