Job Description

Mechanical Drafter/Project Support Position Summary This position will take customer requirements and turn them into clear, accurate drawings our shop can build from. This role involves drafting, problem-solving, and project coordination. You'll work closely with our sales, engineering, and production teams to make sure every project moves smoothly from idea to finished equipment. If you enjoy figuring things out, working with a team, and seeing your work turn into real equipment on the shop floor, you'll fit in well here. Responsibilities Create 3D models and shop drawings using SolidWorks Build Bills of Materials (BOMs) and project documents Review customer drawings, blueprints, and job specifications Help gather measurements and project details when needed Work with sales, engineering, and production to make sure designs can be built Update drawings and documents as projects move through production Help troubleshoot design questions during fabrication Keep projects organized and moving forward Qualifications Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software Proficient in Excel Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure Strong attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Someone who takes pride in doing things right Valid driver's license (occasional regional travel) Preferred Attributes HVAC or electrical experience are a huge plus Manufacturing or fabrication experience Experience working directly with customers or project teams Associate's degree What We Offer Competitive pay with performance bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Training and opportunities for career growth Relocation assistance provided for candidates relocating from 45+ miles outside Ponca City or from out of state ($3,000-$5,000).
