Environmental Graphics Fabrication Drafter Ready to turn narratives into spaces people can navigate and remember? Our client is a recognized exhibit design and fabrication partner for agencies delivering interpretive and wayfinding signage and museum-quality experiences. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving shop-to-studio workflow, this role is for you. What you'll tackle Translate design intent into meticulous 2D and 3D shop drawings for interactive features, cabinetry, metal fabrication, maps, and tactile elements Develop special-part details to support fabrication and assembly Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing on specialty components Prepare production files for laser cutting, 3D printing, waterjet, machining, and more Capture field/off-site measurements; occasional out-of-state travel Maintain project documentation: finishes, paint codes, as-builts, hardware, adhesives Monitor budgets, hours, schedules, scope, and deliverables, stepping in to manage as needed Schedule Full-time, day shift Potential nationwide travel a few times per year Compensation & benefits Up to $60,000 to start, based on skills and experience Health Insurance 401(k) with Profit Sharing 9 Paid Holidays 40 hours PTO Additional benefits available You bring Degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Exhibit Design, or similar 5-7 years of hands-on drafting/detailing experience Strong command of AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SketchUp, and Adobe Illustrator Priority consideration for Adobe Illustrator with CADtools (Hot Door) experience Proven ability to work with multiple digital file formats Comfort in a Mac OS environment Capacity to juggle concurrent projects and hit tight deadlines Technical strengths CNC Programming CAD Software Mechanical Design & Engineering Product Design Experience Graphic Design Technology Knowledge of Large Format Graphics Blueprint Reading Production equipment & platforms CNC Automation Solutions 3D Modeling (AutoCAD, Autodesk Fusion 360) 2D Drawings (AutoCAD) Graphic and Signage Finishing Equipment CNC Laser Cutter CNC Waterjet CAD Software (AutoCAD) Call 971.371.4028 or email your resume and portfolio to portlandwest@pridestaff.com.
