Job Description

General Requirements:
This is a full-time, Hourly Sub-Contract position with a 40+ hour work week, Monday
  • Friday generally from 7:00am
  • 4:00pm. Hourly Pay $15
  • 20 Must have own reliable transportation.
High technical capacity, problem solving analysis, thoroughness and attention-to-detail. With Ability to clearly relay and understand ideas and concepts through emails, verbal descriptions, and hand sketches. Highly organized and able to multi-task under time constraints and work with minimal supervision Ability to work well in a team environment and receive specific instructions from individual project managers and project engineers. A drive for personal growth and continuous improvement. Competency and proficiency with PC/CAD workstations using Autodesk, AutoCAD and Inventor. We use the most updated versions of all software packages. MS Word, Excel, OneNote, Autodesk Vault & Outlook are also highly preferred. Experience with similar design software like SolidWorks is a plus.
Job Description is as followed:
Read construction documents and specifications (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Fabrication Drawing sets) Metal fabrication and assembly processes (Weldments, Sheetmetal, Hardware, and Fasteners) Mechanical Design, as well as an integration of field and shop information. Recognize the advantages and/or disadvantages to the options available, so the Shop Drawings that you create make sense from both a fabrication and installation viewpoint.
Education:
Requires a High School Diploma Mechanical Engineering studies preferred. Work experience related to commercial construction, metal fabrication, welding or working with sheetmetal is a plus. Inventor 2
