Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) - U.S. Marine Corps Position Summary Seeking experienced Mechanical Designers, Drafters, and Checkers to support the development of the U.S. Marine Corps' next-generation Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) program. In this role, you will transform engineering concepts into detailed, production-ready designs and technical data packages for a complex military vehicle platform. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and production teams, you will ensure designs are accurate, manufacturable, and compliant with military and industry standards. Responsibilities Develop detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings from engineering concepts using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Create and maintain production-level Technical Data Packages (TDPs) in accordance with MIL-STD-31000 and internal standards. Perform drawing and model checking activities to verify accuracy, completeness, fit, function, and manufacturability. Apply GD&T principles and perform tolerance stack-up analyses on mechanical assemblies. Support engineering teams with detailed design work for brackets, enclosures, structures, and vehicle subsystems. Manage engineering documentation and revisions through PDM/PLM systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and shop personnel, to resolve design and fabrication issues. Qualifications Associate's degree or technical certification in CADD, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent experience considered. Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
