Mechanical Designer I Red Valve $24.74 - $30.93 / hr life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, retirement plan United States, Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh 750 Holiday Drive (Show on map) Jun 23, 2026 Looking to grow your career in mechanical design while working on real-world engineered products? Join DeZURIK as a Mechanical Designer I and contribute to the design and documentation of valve solutions used across critical industries. In this Pittsburgh-based hybrid role, you'll collaborate with engineers and cross-functional partners to create and maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings, support design updates, and help deliver accurate, manufacturable product documentation. While this role is based in our corporate office and not attached to a manufacturing site, you'll still gain exposure to how products are designed, built, and applied in the field. Please note that sponsorship is NOT available for this role. You'll support drafting, simple design work, and customer-specific configurations-developing bill of materials, part numbers, and documentation within our ERP system. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, has strong attention to detail, and is eager to grow technical skills in a collaborative engineering environment. What you'll bring: Associate degree or technical training in drafting/design (or related experience)
Experience with 2D/3D CAD tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage priorities and work independently with guidance
Basic understanding of manufacturing principles
