is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Senior Piping Designer in our Corpus Christi, TX office. This is a great opportunity to get involved in some interesting and challenging design projects within the Energy & Chemicals industry. High School diploma or Associates Degree with adequate drafting courses. Minimum 12+ years of piping design experience within the energy & chemicals industry. Piping Lead and Checking experience required Overall understanding of technical disciplines and project execution. Must be proficient with Cadworks Must have Bluebeam experience Chemical/Refinery/Power/LNG background Strong supervision skills with the ability to mentor, lead, train and motivate employees to produce quality work. Research skills, analytical and creative problem-solving skills, questioning and feedback skills, project and time management skills. Ability to clearly communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing. Ability to independently organize and prioritize work assignments. Coordinate a variety of tasks with good attention to detail. Ability to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines. Proficient in Navisworks and Microsoft Office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree preferred. Certificate in Design/Drafting preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work will be in a general office environment operating and functioning in a fast-paced work environment. Occasionally required to work in an industrial location where noise levels will be moderate to high. Job sites may contain the following: light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking.
