The details are to include all views and dimensions necessary to produce construction drawings. This position makes some decisions but refers most questions/problems to engineers or the supervisor. Working knowledge of AutoCAD MEP, Revit and has familiarity with MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Word. Essential Functions Uses computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD & Revit) software to develop designs. Creates and revises both 2 and 3-dimensional design/construction drawings (Fire Protection, Plumbing & Mechanical). Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of mechanical and plumbing systems. Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of power, lighting, and signal systems. Draws finished designs from sketches. Updates Drafting Standards as appropriate. Sets up and maintains an organized file system for production drawings. Required Education and Experience Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school prferred; or minimum two years of industry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience: A solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with MEP systems utilized in most commercial buildings; Possesses mechanical aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations; Working knowledge of AutoCAD MEP, Revit and familiarity with MS Office #
SRIND Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
