Job Description

Electrical Harness Drafter Houston, TX About Intuitive Machines:

Position:
We are seeking a CAD designer to join our Avionics team in the design of harnesses for various programs including our lunar landers, and satellites. The ideal candidate will be able to work with our multi-discipline team in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Work harness productions drawings in Altium, based on engineering input and cable routing models. As required, assist cable routing engineers with modeling in CREO. Work with engineering and production engineers to document final drawings from redlined drawings and fabrication notes. Able to work with technicians and engineers on design/workmanship issues. Able to work in a lab setting
Requirements:
Basic drafting skills. Knowledge in using general CAD software. B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Associate in Drafting/CAD related field or 2+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Read and understand discipline-specific drawings, and vendor documentation. Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving project and department needs and technologies.
Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge in JPR 8500.4J,NASA-STD-8739.4,and/or IPC harness design and fabrication methods. Experience in working with Altium and
