AutoCAD Drafter Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, general manager or project managers. This role requires strong proficiency in AutoCAD, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

o Receive an initial customer Request for Quote, send to General Manager to generate quote. o Upon quote and project commencement approval, generate drawings based on drawings provided by the client. o Create and revise drawings for client and in-house approval. Track all revisions of drawings at the bottom of drawings with signoffs. o Ensure accuracy and clarity in all technical documentation. Create 2D and/or 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD software Interpret and translate sketches, specifications, and calculations into detailed drawings Revise drawings based on feedback and project changes Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company guidelines Maintain organized records of drawings and project files Perform quality checks on drawings for accuracy and completeness Update project folders timeline dates as drawing are completed, approved, and project is sent to production. Support Project and Production Managers with drawing-related needs. Provide timely updates and documentation for all active jobs. Review project specs and extract necessary material and component details. Perform a secondary quality review of all drawings and project documents before release. As needed, perform Quality Checks on the project when the Production Manager is out of the office. Maintain constant contact with clients and the Production Manager to align changes, approvals, and timelines. Confirm by email any changes on drawing from customers and file in project folder. Keep all documentation updated at the request of the Quality Management Representative.

Required Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and/or 3D) Associates degree or certification in drafting, design, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Strong understanding of drafting standards and technical terminology Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Microsoft Office (Excel, Words, etc.) preferred
