Job Description

Basic Functions:
Prepare scale and fabrication drawings for heat exchangers and pressure vessels and proficiently uses AutoCAD 2D.
Major Duties:
1. Create scale drawings of a complete heat exchanger/pressure vessel and/or its components 2. Prepare fabrication drawings 3. Prepare purchasing sketches for vendors 4. Measure existing components and create
AS-BUILT
drawings 5. Checks bill of materials for accuracy
Qualifications:
Education
  • Associates degree or technical certificate in mechanical drafting. Engineering Technology, or related field experience Knowledge
  • Autocad 2D is a must Skills
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings. Must be consistent in thought processes and work methodology Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to read and properly use a tape measure Experience with caliper measurement tool is a plus Working Conditions/Location
  • Technical office setting and manufacturing shop floor
