Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Engineering Assistant to join our dynamic engineering team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to support the engineering team on a variety of projects. As an engineering assistant, your job duties include spec reading, research, conducting tests, modifying techniques, and resolving issues. Additional responsibilities are to help project engineers design, develop, evaluate, and troubleshoot to accomplish project goals. You work as part of a team, so a commitment to safety and compliance with regulations is important. Communication skills are also a must for this career. Responsibilities Assist with project scheduling and tracking to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks. Provide general administrative support to the Engineering department. Prepare technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD Inventor. Conduct research & development activities to improve project processes or develop innovative solutions. Assist with drafting reports, technical writing, and documenting project progress or findings. Data entry Provide general administrative support to the Engineering Division. Qualifications Multiple years of experience in AutoCAD Inventor and other types of computer-aided design equipment. Certificate in AutoCAD or a similar program is beneficial. Attention to detail. Strong math skills to support construction estimating and technical calculations. Solid understanding of engineering principles are highly valued. Ability to collect accurate data through observations. Excellent research skills combined with clear technical writing abilities. Experience with drawings, BOMS and Mechanical Machine Concepts.
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour
