There is no travel associated with this position. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following: Engineer custom 2D mechanical submittal drawings for complex heat transfer systems using AutoCAD, ensuring all dimensions and tolerances meet customer specifications Develop comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) and sales order job packets to guide the production floor from approval to final assembly Collaborate directly with the production floor, visiting the manufacturing area to view your assigned projects in progress and updating "as-built" master drawings post-shipment Act as a technical point of contact for clients, answering engineering questions during the submittal process and ensuring all designs are "approved for production. Utilize internal custom AutoCAD commands and protocols to maintain department structure while offering guidance to other team members on technical inquiries The background of the successful candidate must include the following: 3 or more years of professional experience in 2D AutoCAD mechanical design (experience in a manufacturing or "steel" environment is highly preferred)

Strong Mechanical Aptitude:

Ability to understand how assembly drawings are manufactured and a genuine interest in seeing designs come to life on a shop floor

Educational Foundation:
