Essential Functions:
Evaluate and optimize standard Assembly production management processes and systems Work directly with production management to ensure standardized efficient and effective shop floor management at all levels
Taking responsibility for complex cross-functional product and process problem solving tasks involving Body shop, Paint shop, and Supplier impacts across the Assembly shops
Develop, align, and implement solutions to these complex problems
Other Regular Daily Tasks:
Daily attendance and evaluation of Assembly Core Teams and Escalaton Meetings Drive problem resolution for complex and legacy topics
Steering support for shopfloor processes
Regular reporting of project and problem solving status and next steps Qualifications
Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.
Education:
Student in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
Understanding of Engineering Problem Solving
Basic Microsoft Computer Knowledge
Understanding of Vehicle Systems and Terminology
Focus on Standard Automotive Production System

Paid internship - hourly rate $18

Requirements:
Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master's degree
Studies outside of the U.S.A (we are not accepting applications from students who are currently studying in the U.S.A)
A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
Available for a minimum of 6 months
