Job Description
Job Description The Mechatronics Engineer will support Nordson's Pathfinding Group in evaluating and developing emerging technologies through hands-on testing and proof-of-concept initiatives. This role works closely with cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines to assess system performance and guide design decisions. Responsibilities Support testing and validation efforts for new technologies and proof-of-concept initiatives Collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive informed design decisions Assist in the design and integration of mechatronic systems, including microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded software Partner with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and software) to evaluate system performance and functionality Troubleshoot technical issues and adapt engineering approaches to effectively solve problems Support component selection based on performance, specifications, and reliability requirements Assist in evaluating vendor capabilities and identifying appropriate components Contribute innovative ideas and technical feedback to enhance system design and overall performance We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
