Job title: Exterior Mechanism Design Release engineer Design of automotive Exterior mechanism in a DRE role Develop high efficiency actuators and motors for systems such as Chargeport Doors, Exterior Mirrors, Tonneau Covers and automated glazing systems f Define and develop mechatronic requirements, working closely with software controls and electrical teams to refine motors control logic, sensor feedback loops and diagnostic protocols. Utilize Catia V5/3D Experience to integrate motors and actuators into ensuring rapid design iterations and optimization Work with the studio team to provide engineering criteria sections and generate high quality A-Surface that meet all DFM requirements while keeping with the theme of the vehicle Develop, prototype and industrialize various mechanisms and actuators in the vehicle features Create 2D drawings with GD&T Drive continuous improvement in mechanism kinematics and NVH profiles.
