Mechatronics Lead:

a founding team member responsible for the electrical, embedded, and controls architecture of our platform family. This is a hands-on engineering and execution role. The Mechatronics Lead turns hardware into intelligent systems. You will work directly with the rest of the founding team and operators across power systems, embedded software, controls, FPV systems, radios, sensors, autonomy, and vehicle integration to rapidly develop and deploy next-generation unmanned ground systems.

The right person:

thinks at the system level thrives in high-velocity hardware environments is deeply hands-on moves fluidly between hardware and software communicates clearly and directly takes ownership instinctively is comfortable operating with incomplete information and aggressive timelines understands that real-world testing is the ultimate source of truth You should be equally comfortable: developing embedded systems and firmware integrating sensors, radios, and vehicle electronics debugging electrical and software systems in the field building early autonomy and controls capabilities rapidly prototyping and iterating balancing capability, simplicity, and reliability coordinating directly with suppliers and vendors jumping into whatever is required to move the mission forward We are building a small, elite, execution-focused team.
