Founding Product Engineer Smvsoft LLC San Francisco, CA Job Details Full-time $200,000 - $240,000 a year 20 hours ago Qualifications Full-stack development Next.js UI Python Full Job Description Founding Product Engineer San Francisco, CA Full Time US citizen or existing work visa (no sponsorship) $200,000 to $240000 per annum NO C2C What You'll Own Build the product surfaces client's customers use daily: sequence and enrollment system, Cedar agent layer, eval, and observability tooling Take products from 70 to 100: take features that the existing engineer has built to 70% and ship them to production-grade quality Sit directly in Slack with customers and translate their requests into product improvements Make product tweaks that improve how users understand and interact with client Pair with the founders on what to build next, contributing as much product intuition as engineering work Help define what "Linear-quality B2B SaaS" feels like in client's specific category RequirementsMust-Have 2-4 years of engineering experience (new grads OK) Strong full-stack engineering ability across Next.js, React, Python, FastAPI, and Supabase Exceptional product intuition: you can articulate why a UI feels right or wrong, and you think from first principles about user workflows Ability to ship from spec to production without hand-holding Engineering taste at the level of Linear, Attio, Raycast, or Vercel, and a portfolio that demonstrates it Based in SF or willing to relocate immediately, in-person 5 days a week Nice-to-Have Prior founder, founding engineer, or early YC-stage startup experience Prior work at a GTM/sales/CRM/enrichment tool (Apollo, Outreach, Clay, Attio, HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong, Common Room) Power user of GTM tools yourself: you've actually run outbound, written sequences, and fought with deliverability Real-time collaborative interfaces, agent UI, or eval/observability tooling experience Strong school background
