Global Medical Device Company is hiring a Mechatronics Engineer III in the Denver, CO area to develop and qualify automated manufacturing systems. This role involves leading process improvement initiatives, utilizing expertise in PLCs, robotics, and vision systems, and working in GMP-regulated environments. You'll collaborate with global teams, manage diverse projects, and contribute to solutions that enhance lives. Responsibilities + Lead automation projects, including independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of automation systems. + Perform technical evaluations of manufacturing and automation processes. + Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and other regulatory standards for automated manufacturing systems. + Support troubleshooting of PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and other automated equipment. + Collaborate globally with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and other stakeholders. + Manage project timelines, budget, and resources effectively. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team. + Represent the organization by providing solutions to complex technical issues. + Ensure all projects adhere to safety and regulatory standards. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BS required, BS in engineering preferred). + Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing and automation engineering. + At least 2 years of GMP manufacturing experience involving PLCs, machine control systems, robotics (ABB/Fanuc), and vision systems. + Knowledge of machine control systems including PLCs, HMI, pneumatic, and electrical systems. + Experience with Allen-Bradley control systems and Cognex vision systems. + Hands-on experience working with ABB and Fanuc robots. + Strong technical problem-solving skills. + Understanding of GMP practices and FDA regulations. + Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. + Mechanical and electronic aptitude for troubleshooting automated equipment. + Ability to work on-site in Littleton, CO, with some travel (
