BS or MS in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering or related field, 4+ yrs exp in Product development, Solidworks, GD&T, electr-mechanical product and system experience Position Overview An innovative engineering organization is seeking a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer II to support the development of advanced electro-mechanical systems. This role focuses on designing, building, and testing integrated actuator and motion control solutions from concept through production. Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical and electro-mechanical product development using SolidWorks to create 3D models, assemblies and detailed drawings. Design, select and integrate actuators, motors (servo, stepper), sensors and drives; perform motor control and PID tuning as required. Collaborate with electrical engineers on PCB design/layout, power electronics and electronics integration to ensure seamless system functionality. Develop and validate embedded control/software (C/C++, Python, embedded Linux/RTOS) and collaborate on firmware for microcontrollers and PLCs. Design and develop electro-mechanical systems including motors, actuators, gears, and sensors Create 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks Test, troubleshoot, and validate system performance Develop assembly instructions, test procedures, and technical documentation Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and vendors Manage multiple projects and priorities Support product improvements and root cause analysis Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering (or equivalent). Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mechatronics, electro-mechanical product development or related engineering roles. Proven proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical modelling, assemblies and drawing generation (required). Strong SolidWorks and GD&T knowledge Experience integrating mechanical and electrical systems integration Hands-on testing and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Skills to have Experience with servo drives and motion control systems Familiarity with industrial networks such as EtherCAT or CANopen Programming experience (Python or LabVIEW) Experience with electronics or PCBA design Benefits Pay with OT opportunity 100% Employer Paid Health Ins Premium Vision Life PTO/Vacation Bonus Opportunties Career Growth Track And More For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
