BS or MS in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering or related field, 4+ yrs exp in Product development, Solidworks, GD&T, electr-mechanical product and system experiencePosition OverviewAn innovative engineering organization is seeking a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer II to support the development of advanced electro-mechanical systems. This role focuses on designing, building, and testing integrated actuator and motion control solutions from concept through production.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead mechanical and electro-mechanical product development using SolidWorks to create 3D models, assemblies and detailed drawings.

Design, select and integrate actuators, motors (servo, stepper), sensors and drives; perform motor control and PID tuning as required.

Collaborate with electrical engineers on PCB design/layout, power electronics and electronics integration to ensure seamless system functionality.

Develop and validate embedded control/software (C/C++, Python, embedded Linux/RTOS) and collaborate on firmware for microcontrollers and PLCs.

Design and develop electro-mechanical systems including motors, actuators, gears, and sensorsCreate 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorksTest, troubleshoot, and validate system performanceDevelop assembly instructions, test procedures, and technical documentationCollaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and vendorsManage multiple projects and prioritiesSupport product improvements and root cause analysisQualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering (or equivalent).Minimum 3 years of professional experience in mechatronics, electro-mechanical product development or related engineering roles.
