Job Description
Engineering Product Leader Geometry, Anderson, SC, OPmobility Exterior USA LLC. Analyze, perform ≤ad dimensional engrg incl. spec &validation of part tolerances; dsgn &validation of checking fixtures; &msmt, verification, &validation of part dimensional msmts for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) pkgs, for ext automot cmpt dvlpmt prgms for prod. of psgr vehicle ext syss incl. bumpers, liftgates, fenders, wheel arches, &rocker panels at 4 U.S. &3 MEX plants. Serve as functional leader of Americas Region dimensional engrg team, providing general tech direction, coordinating engrg workload across prgms, ⊃porting performance feedback. Reqrd travel to OPmobility plants in MEX to address tech questions &validate metrology, part tolerances, msmt devices, ✓ing fixtures for ext cmpt prgms, &train plant personnel in dimensional engrg methodologies &dimensional standards up to 4 wks P/A. Bachelor, Mechanical, Automot, Mfg Engrg, or related. 24 mos exp as Engr or related, analyzing &performing dimensional engrg incl. spec &validation of part tolerances; dsgn or validation of checking fixtures; &validation of part dimensional msmts for PPAP pkgs, for cmpt dvlpmt prgms for production of psgr vehicle ext syss bumpers &rocker panels, or related.
