Actin Development Engineer Location:
Houston, TX -
Onsite Duration:
6 months Must have 6 to 7 years of strong Angular experience. Must have hands-on working Knowledge of Actin Must have hands-on working Knowledge of Energid robotic control software - Proficiency/knowledge in programming languages such as Python, C++, and ROS. Strong understanding of control systems, kinematics, and embedded systems. Familiarity with sensors used in oil & gas robotics (e.g., ultrasonic, inductive proximity, LiDAR, pressure). Ability to work in field conditions and travel to remote sites as needed. Hands-on Knowledge of ROS Industrial 2.0, RViz, MoveIt, etc. Roles & Responsibilities Design and develop robotic systems tailored for oil & gas drilling and pipe-handling applications. Integrate sensors and control systems for autonomous drilling and pipe-handling, manipulation, and data acquisition. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to prototype and test robotic control solutions for drilling and pipe-handling operations. Develop software for real-time control, telemetry, and remote operation of robotic platforms. Conduct field trials and validation tests in simulated and live oil & gas environments. Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and environmental regulations. Analyze performance data and optimize robotic systems for safety, reliability and efficiency. Document engineering processes, test results, and system configurations.
