High Pressure Grouting Technician

Location:

Delta Junction, Alaska What You Will Do Perform high-pressure grout injection operations to stabilize rock formations and control water inflow. Operate and monitor grout pumps, mixing systems, and injection equipment in underground or surface mining environments. Prepare and mix cement, chemical, or resin-based grout materials following engineering specifications. Install and operate packers, pressure gauges, hoses, and valves used in injection systems. Monitor pressure levels, flow rates, and grout volumes to ensure effective treatment of ground conditions. Read and follow grouting plans, drilling layouts, and geotechnical instructions. Maintain detailed grouting logs, operational reports, and quality control records. Conduct routine equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting. Work closely with geotechnical engineers, drilling crews, and mine supervisors to complete stabilization projects. Follow all mine safety standards, procedures, and environmental regulations.

• 14 days on / 14 days off What We're Looking For Experience in high-pressure grouting, ground support, or underground mining operations.

Hands-on experience operating grouting pumps, mixers, and injection systems. Knowledge of cementitious grouting, chemical grouting, or polyurethane injection methods. Ability to interpret technical plans, procedures, and engineering instructions. Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration. Ability to work in physically demanding underground environments. Willingness to work rotational schedules at remote mine sites. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in underground mining, tunneling, or geotechnical ground improvement. Certifications such as mine safety training (MSHA).
