Project Engineer Manager Duties:

Apply professional-level geotechnical, geological, and mining engineering principles to evaluate subsurface conditions and underground construction methods; review and interpret geotechnical and geological reports and subsurface investigation data (including soil and rock borings, CPT results, laboratory tests, and groundwater studies); and assess feasibility, safety, and performance of deep foundation and earth retention systems. Design, evaluate, and manage engineering processes for deep foundations, earth retention, and ground improvement systems; oversee design-build constructability reviews, sequencing of underground work, and verification of performance and safety criteria; and manage engineering oversight for specialized geotechnical and underground construction equipment and monitoring systems to ensure compatibility with subsurface conditions, design intent, and safety requirements. Prepare and manage engineering calculations, design criteria, constructability analyses, means-and-methods submittals, specifications, geotechnical monitoring plans, performance verification strategies, and engineering risk-mitigation and safety plans for underground and deep foundation construction projects..

Requirements:

BS Applied Science, Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering or equivalent, plus 5 years' experience in the job offered or in deep foundations and earth retention design and construction or as Project Manager. Possible limited travel to Riverside County.
