Job Description
Engineering Project Manager (Structural) Make an Impact on Complex Power & Industrial Infrastructure We are seeking a highly experienced Engineering Project Manager (Structural) to lead the structural discipline on large-scale power generation and heavy industrial projects . In this role, you'll combine deep technical expertise with project leadership—guiding multidisciplinary teams, shaping critical infrastructure, and serving as Structural Engineer of Record on high‑profile projects. This is an opportunity to step into a lead leadership role where your decisions influence safety, constructability, and long‑term performance across complex facilities, from early concept through construction. What You'll Do As a key technical and project leader, you will: Serve as the Structural Discipline Lead on power and heavy industrial projects Manage and mentor a team of structural engineers and designers, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to scope Oversee engineering budgets, schedules, and deliverables , balancing technical excellence with project performance Act as Structural Engineer of Record , signing and sealing drawings under your supervision Develop and review structural calculations, foundation designs, and structural steel systems from concept through construction Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects on time and on budget Interpret and apply applicable codes, standards, and specifications , supporting safe and compliant designs Prepare material quantities, engineering work-hour estimates, and design schedules to support project planning What You Bring Required Experience & Qualifications 15+ years of experience in Structural Engineering Project Management , from concept through construction Extensive experience in power generation and heavy industrial facilities Active Professional Engineering (PE) license in any U.S. state Bachelor of Science in Civil (Structural) Engineering from an accredited institution 10+ years designing steel and concrete foundations and structures for conventional (fossil-fueled) and/or nuclear power plants 5+ years in an engineering leadership or supervisory role Proficiency with STAAD Pro, RISA , and similar structural analysis tools Preferred / Nice to Have Experience with seismic analysis and design , particularly for nuclear facilities Familiarity with AutoDesk Advance Steel Master's degree in Structural Engineering Ability and willingness to obtain additional PE licenses through comity Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines and stakeholders Work Environment & Benefits Hybrid work schedule based out of the Mt.
