Our Auckland team is expanding, and we're excited to welcome both an I ntermediate Geotechnical Engineer and a Senior Associate Geotechnical Engineer to help shape the future of Aotearoa's transport, water, and infrastructure landscape. As an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer , you'll play a key role in delivering geotechnical design and analysis across a variety of infrastructure projects in transport, buildings, water, energy & power and marine sectors. You'll work on ground investigations, interpretation of geotechnical test data, developing foundation design solutions, undertake seismic and static liquefaction analysis, embankment and slope stability assessments, and construction supervision. You'll contribute to clear, high quality technical reporting and help develop innovative, best practice design solutions. You'll also support the application of Jacobs' standards and procedures, ensuring our work reflects our commitment to safety, quality, and client service. Along the way, you'll collaborate closely with senior engineers, raising design considerations early and helping keep projects on track. Our Senior Associate Geotechnical Engineer opportunity is ideal for someone ready to lead and inspire. You'll guide medium to large engineering teams, providing technical direction across a variety of infrastructure projects in transport, buildings, water, energy & power, and marine sectors . You'll shape geotechnical design strategies, oversee documentation to industry standards, work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary teams, and help deliver solutions that respond thoughtfully to client needs. A balance of in-office design technical leadership and onsite support to our teams/projects as required. You'll also play a key role in strengthening connections with our clients and across our regional offices in NZ and Australia, supporting knowledge sharing and integrated project delivery—an essential part of how we work as one global Jacobs team. Here's what you'll need Relevant qualification (Tertiary Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology) Experience in similar roles.
