Job Description

- WSP is seeking a
- Senior Project Manager / Environmental Engineer
- to join our high-performing Earth & Environment team based in
- Madison, Wisconsin
- Your Impact
- Strategic Project Leadership + Lead the planning, design, and execution of diverse environmental and water resource projects.
Coordinate with WSP Practice Area Networks and Industrial/Commercial Sector leaders to ensure responsive, high-quality client service. Financial & Resource Management + Manage full project lifecycles, including budgets, schedules, contracts, forecasting, and financial performance. + Oversee environmental projects including site characterization, remedial design, and preparation of technical reports and documentation. + Prepare proposals and contribute to large-scale pursuits by developing scopes of work, task-level budgets, and cost estimates. + Maintain strong client relationships while managing multiple concurrent projects. + Provide regular workload and resource forecasting reports to regional leadership. Client & Business Development + Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Lead pursuit strategies and preparation of winning proposals for new and existing clients.
Provide business leadership for environmental remediation, site characterization, and water resources work in collaboration with regional leaders. Team Leadership & Mentorship + Directly supervise and mentor multidisciplinary teams of engineers, hydrogeologists, and environmental scientists.
Support professional growth through mentoring of early-career and mid-level engineers, geologists, and scientists.
Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Quality, Safety & Compliance + Ensure adherence to WSP Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards and safety plans.
Ensure project work complies with all applicable local, state, and feder
- Who You Are
- Required Qualifications
- + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology, or a closely related scientific discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- + Master's degree in engineering.
