About the opportunity:

We are representing a client in Australia who operates a number of metallurgical and thermal coal mines. One of their Longwall operations is going through an expansion and there is a shortage of Longwall and Development Superintendents due to high demand and growth in the underground coal sector. A rare opportunity therefore exits for an exceptional leader and highly capable superintendent (across Longwall or Development) to explore the chance to work in the Australia mining sector. Experience required:

15 + years of longwall experience Technical / engineering background would be highly regarded - mining engineer or similar. Experienced at superintendent level or higher across Development or Longwall areas.
