NDE Technician II Schlumberger - 4.1 Mobile, AL Job Details 6 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Radiographic testing technique Non-destructive testing NDT Certification Magnetic particle testing technique Full Job Description SLB is seeking a detail-oriented, safety-focused individual to join our team as an NDT Technician at our Mobile, AL location. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment integrity, supporting inspection activities, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting. We are looking for someone who demonstrates strong technical expertise, prioritizes safety, and thrives in a hands-on operational environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to asset integrity, support continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence. Roles and Responsibilities Execute nondestructive testing operations and document results in accordance with established procedures Review NDT procedures to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications Ensure safe usage, handling, and control of radioactive equipment and personnel Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation and maintain required NDT records for certification and regulatory compliance Evaluate inspection findings and provide initial recommendations for corrective actions Participate in root cause analysis and lessons learned reviews to enhance processes and prevent recurrence of issues Actively support safety initiatives and participate in incident investigations Set up, standardize, and maintain the functionality of nondestructive testing equipment Interpret nondestructive examination results and clearly report findings Qualifications and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Must possess and maintain
SNT-TC-1A NDE
Level II Certification on
RT, VT, MT, LP
Advanced knowledge of quality terms, definitions, and concepts Understanding of types of measurement, measurement terminology, and the different types of measurement scales Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations 40-hour Radiation Safety Training Certificate / State Card Professional Accreditation /
