Based in Chandler, AZ, Triax Industries' world class Investment Casting facility produces high-quality custom casting components. We are currently recruiting for 1 NDT-Level II Xray position for 2nd shift We have 1 shift available: 2:00pm-10:30am shift / Monday - Friday/ work 40 hours at a rate of $23-$27 depending on experience. This shift also offers a $1.50/hr shift differential. Needs to know how to read film. Conduct XRAY and NDT tests / evaluations for acceptance / rejection of hardware based on approved inspection criteria. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Have skills and knowledge to set-up and standardize equipment, conduct tests, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results. Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique / method in which they are certified. Have skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard. Be capable of providing the necessary guidance and / or supervision to trainees and Level I personnel in the technique / method in which they are certified. Be familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by TTC. Be capable of developing written instructions from approved general procedures, such instructions will require final approval by a Level III. Have basic knowledge of product manufacturing and inspection technology. Be able to prepare written instructions, organize, report and record testing results. When specified in the written practice, have basic knowledge of aircraft or vehicle maintenance. Be familiar with the various characteristics of material, such as, type and location of expected defects and type of defects that may be associated with fabrication and production operations . JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience with having Quality responsibility for areas within the Quality dept. (calibration, document control, auditing, corrective action, MRB, spec review, product certification, ISO/AS audit preparation and conformance). Demonstrated experience with interpretation of OEM quality and part specifications in the aerospace, industrial gas turbine, and/or automotive industries. Demonstrated experience with Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbine Airfoil components a huge plus. Candidate must possess demonstrated communications skills (both technical writing and verbal). Candidate must demonstrate a sense of urgency for timeliness in maintaining and improving quality systems within a manufacturing organization. Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
