The NDT Technician II performs non-destructive inspection of components to ensure compliance with Company's quality system, specifications, and customer requirements. Non-destructive testing disciplines include Florescent Penetrant, Radiography (X-Ray), Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic and Eddy Current Inspections.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
The specific EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
requirements of this position are:- NDT Level II Certification in at least one NDT method (PT, MT, UT, RT, ET)
- Able to stand 75% of workday and lift to 35lbs as required
- 2-4 year's general work history
- One (1) year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Read, speak, write, and effectively communicate in English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Software
- Read and interpret various types of precision measurement equipment
- Read and interpret specifications, drawings, Engine Service/Repair Manuals, customer & regulatory specifications The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels.
