Position Overview We're hiring an NDT Technician (Level II preferred) with strong expertise in Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) and Radiographic Testing (RT/X-Ray) . This role requires hands-on inspection, interpretation, and documentation in accordance withASNT / NAS410
standards . Key Responsibilities Perform NDT inspections (PT & RT/X-Ray) on aerospace components Set up and operate radiographic equipment (DDA, X-Ray, film systems) Execute full penetrant testing cycles (cleaning, dwell, developer, inspection) Interpret inspection results and apply accept/reject criteria Document inspection data perNAS410 / ASNT
standards Maintain and troubleshoot NDT equipment and systems Support quality audits (Nadcap) and compliance requirements Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED 4+ years of hands-on NDT experience in manufacturing Strong experience with: Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)•REQUIRED
Radiographic Testing (RT / X-Ray)•REQUIRED or strongly preferred Certification aligned with ASNT-TC-1A and/or NAS410 Ability to independently perform and interpret inspections Experience with inspection reporting, traceability, and documentation Preferred Qualifications Level II certification (PT and/or RT) Aerospace, aviation, or defense manufacturing experience Experience with Digital Radiography (DDA systems) Familiarity with Nadcap audits and compliance Radiation Safety Certification (IRRSP or equivalent) Exposure to UT, VT, or additional NDT methods Ideal Candidate Detail-oriented with strong inspection and interpretation skills Experienced in high-reliability / regulated environments Strong understanding of quality standards and compliance Team player with ability to work independently About the Company Parker Meggitt is a globally recognized aerospace and defense manufacturer delivering advanced components and systems used in critical flight applications.
