This role can be located primarily in Cedar Rapids, Iowa or Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities:

Travel to field sites across the Iowa area, including schools, government facilities, commercial contractors, retail locations (e.g., Walmart, Lowe's, Target), and nuclear/industrial plants Perform weld inspections using both visual assessment and specialized testing equipment Document and report inspection results in accordance with company and industry standards When not in the field, working in the office with frequent travel required to job sites Operate and maintain a company vehicle for site visits

Required Skills:

Skilled in steel/weld inspection (visual and using inspection/testing equipment) for construction and steel framing American Welding Society (AWS) or Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Certification required High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Driver's License Additional Skills:

Certifications in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), or Ultrasonic Testing (UT) #open
