Job Description

Part-Time Instructor
  • Quality Control for Manufacturing Do you love working as a Quality Control specialist?
Join our dedicated team of elite instructors. Symbol Training is a vocational school specializing in hands-on manufacturing programs. We're looking for an experienced quality control professional to teach our program. About the Role This is a part-time, in-person instructional position. You'll deliver a structured curriculum covering blueprint reading, precision measurement, inspection techniques, and foundational quality systems while also bringing real-world context that helps students connect classroom learning to the shop floor. Teaching hours are from 6 to12 hours per week. Exact scheduling is determined at hire. Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing quality control, inspection, or a closely related role
  • Proficiency with precision hand tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gages, thread mics, bore gages, sine bars, gage blocks)
  • Working knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, and dimensional tolerancing
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO 9001, PPAP, and SPC
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to adult learners with varying backgrounds
  • Prior teaching or training experience is a plus, but not required Compensation Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
