Job Description

Youngsville, LA:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an NDT Level II Inspector for a confidential client in Youngsville, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing inspections, interpreting results, maintaining compliance with quality standards, and ensuring all work is completed safely and accurately.
Essential Duties:
Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment in accordance with applicable procedures and standards. Conduct inspections using the appropriate NDT techniques. Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results accurately. Understand and work within the scope and limitations of the NDT method(s) in which certified. Follow applicable codes, standards, specifications, and contractual requirements governing inspections. Maintain accurate inspection records and reports. Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality standards. Understand and comply with company Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and Quality Policy. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE). Safely handle hazardous radioactive sources when required by the inspection discipline.
Requirements/Skills:
ASNT SNT-TC-1A
Level II Certification in the applicable NDT discipline required. Thorough knowledge of NDT inspection methods, equipment, procedures, and industry standards. Ability to interpret technical specifications, codes, and inspection requirements. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and make sound inspection-related decisions. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Experience handling hazardous radioactive sources when required by the NDT discipline.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and handle inspection equipment and materials as required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in industrial environments for extended periods. Near vision acuity meeting Jaeger J2 requirements at a minimum distance of 12 inches. Ability to distinguish color contrast as verified by the Ishihara Color Chart. Ability to wear required PPE and work safely in various environmental conditions.
