  • Identify weld defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, lack of fusion, burn-through, or distortion
  • Perform visual weld inspections using mirrors, borescopes, magnification, and inspection lighting
  • Ensure welds meet applicable standards
  • Measure duct dimensions using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, go/no-go gauges, and templates
  • Verify part geometry, roundness, flange alignment, and overall configuration
  • Inspect duct assemblies for proper orientation, clocking, and assembly sequence

Associate Degree or Technical certification from an accredited institution. Experience working with inspection plans, first piece layout, FAIR's, mil certs and COC's Advanced experience reading blueprints, GD & T, and CMM training/certification Knowledge of scanning and programming from solid models Mitutoyo, MCOSMOS software
Skills:
Strong communication skills to read, write, and speak with teammates and customers. Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours/day with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to to lift up to 35lbs. without reasonable accommodation.
