Ultrasonic Technicians and Supervisors, Level II Position in the Marine Industry working on ships, tug boats, barges, etc. Locations in New York, Norfolk, Virginia and Mobile, Alabama areas. Travel is required. Benefits include full medical along with 401k profit sharing retirement plan and vacation policies. Duties Conduct thorough testing and quality inspections. Utilize ultrasonic machines to perform measurements. Collect and analyze data from tests to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas of concern. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate testing processes. Adhere to OSHA standards during all testing procedures. Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on structural integrity and quality assurance measures. Maintain detailed records of test results, inspections, and any corrective actions taken. Assist in the development of testing protocols and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. SNT-TC-1A

Level II Ultrasonics having minimum 1-2 year thickness measurement survey experience with a company approved by an IACS member Classification Society. Other Marine company related experience will be considered. •Applicant must be US citizens or Legal Aliens•and allowed to work in the United States. Proven experience with surface mount technology (SMT) is highly desirable. Strong computer skills in MS excel required. CAD drafting experience is an asset. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience . Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis skills to support quality improvement initiatives. Experience working with various testing equipment and tools is preferred.
