Job Description

NDT Level II InspectorPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced NDT Level II Inspector responsible for conducting visual inspections, Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and limited Ultrasonic Testing (UT) throughout various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes. This position supports quality assurance operations within a heavy manufacturing environment and requires strong technical inspection experience, blueprint reading ability, and knowledge of welding and nondestructive testing procedures. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-process and final visual weld and dimensional inspections in accordance with

Perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) inspections as a Level II inspector Perform limited Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspections as a Level II inspector Interpret applicable codes, standards, blueprints, and customer specifications Verify product conformance to quality requirements Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, and manufacturing drawings Assist with training and mentoring Level I inspectors Maintain inspection documentation and quality records Communicate effectively with production and quality teams Support continuous quality improvement and safety initiatives Assist with additional quality projects as needed QualificationsEducation High school diploma or equivalent required Experience Must meet

with 280 verifiable OJT hours 80 hours of UT classroom training per

with 840 verifiable OJT hours Prior manufacturing or fabrication inspection experience preferred Skills & Abilities Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols Knowledge of welding fundamentals and inspection practices Experience using measuring and testing equipment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working independently and within a team environment Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials up to 50 lbs Ability to bend, stoop, climb, crawl, and access inspection areas Must pass Jaeger 2 vision testing and distinguish between red and yellow Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working in noisy, dusty, and industrial manufacturing environments Work Environment Manufacturing and fabrication setting Indoor and outdoor work environments Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions Fast-paced production atmosphere Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and paid time off Life and disability insurance Continuing education and tuition reimbursement Employee wellness programs and discounts Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have strong NDT inspection experience, welding inspection knowledge, and the ability to work effectively within a manufacturing quality environment. Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
