Job Description NDT Operator, X-ray (Level 1) Location:
Mentor, Ohio
Shift:
1st Shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday What You'll Do Inspect parts for defects and ensure compliance with specifications
Operate testing equipment to evaluate product quality
Perform system capability checks and follow established procedures
Accurately document work performed and maintain required records
Handle materials, including hazardous waste, in compliance with safety standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support inventory movement and storage management
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience)
Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
Casting experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and flexibility when needed
Strong sense of urgency and accountability
Positive attitude and clear communication skills
What It Takes to Succeed Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Willingness to learn and obtain Level 1 certification
Ability to pass a visual acuity exam
Comfort working under pressure and tight timelines
Commitment to safety and compliance standards
