Inspectors Positions for certified
API 510/570

Position Overview:
The Inspector will conduct visual examinations of pressure retaining equipment such as tanks, piping, and vessels ensuring their mechanical integrity by performing visual inspections according to established API standards and codes (i.e. 510 for pressure vessels, 570 for piping), to identify potential issues, maintaining documented reports of inspection findings, recommend necessary repairs, and certifying compliance with industry regulations. The Inspector provides site QA/QC guidance and monitors the work activity of employees onsite for compliance with specific policies and procedures. Requirements for an
Inspector:
Technical knowledge: Thorough understanding of inspection principles, equipment operation, and applicable codes and standards Practical experience: Prior experience performing inspections in relevant industries Strong analytical skills: Ability to interpret complex data and make accurate assessments of inspection results Attention to detail: High level of precision and accuracy in performing inspections and documenting findings
Required Skills and Experience:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age API Certifications (510/570) Current SPRAT and/or IRATA Rope Access certification Refinery experience is considered a plus Valid Driver's License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required Pre-employment background checks will be required Must Have TWIC card
Work Conditions:
Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in diverse industrial environments with varying climate conditions Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors, client personnel and a wide range of stakeholders Working in a plant and/or shop area around production machinery with extreme noise levels Work from various levels of heights and/or confined spaces for long periods of time Wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection (PPE)
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Ability to lift, move, and carry objects weighing 75lbs. or greater Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, and climb Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights, including climbing tanks, ladders, scaffolding, towers, piping systems, catwalks, structural steel, and wind turbines Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking and stooping Working extended hours and standing for extended periods of time Work in indoor and outdoor environments in conditions of extreme heat and/or cold Work in and near industrial hazards Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties Remain consistently active throughout shift Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing and other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to communicate effectively Sufficient vision (close vision and distance vision) or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to investigate Sufficient manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to perform routine in-field or office duties Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to perform routine in-field or office duties and travel to off-site locations Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection (PPE) Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively Exhibit sensible and responsible behavior Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment
Per-Diem/Travel:
To be considered for per-diem and travel pay, you must provide proof of residence documentation as requested by the client. The name and address on these documents must match. Per-diem and travel pay are subject to additional requirements, which will be listed in the offer letter at the time of hire, along with the site location.
