NDT Level II Full Job Description Schedule:
This position will be required to work on a
ROTATING
shift Prove Up Inspector (MPI): Performs Magnetic Particle Inspection on pipes, deciding their approval or rejection, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards. Performs Magnetic Particle Inspection on pipes Carries out grinding to repair pipes Measures pipes wall thickness after pipe repairs Carries out the identification and marking of rejected parts for subsequent cutting Makes the decision of approving or rejecting pipes in accordance to quality requirements Performs quality reports of pipes notifying the defects found. Must have certifications
