Summary/Objective:
The Data Acquisition Technician will be responsible for setting up and calibrating testing equipment in the field and acquiring the data for analysis. Permit•meet with operation, do a job walk, call out scope, operation will give permit to start work, setup inspection equipment•run power supply, setup Ectane system, use Eddyfi software to perform to tube testing.
Responsibilities:
Complete all safety training requirements. Perform Calibration of ECT, RFT, NFT, and IRIS inspection methods. Acquisition of quality inspection data for analysis and reporting. Acquire Permits for the project•meet with operation, do a job walk, call out scope, to obtain permit Setup inspection equipment which includes running power supply, setup Ectane system, use Eddyfi software to perform to tube testing.

Qualifications:
Valid Driver's license Level 1 technician with certifications in one or multiple tubing inspection methods (ECT, RFT, NFT, IRIS) Certification and list of hours worked in each tubing inspection method Troubleshooting skills Able to work independently and with teams on project Technical skills Basic hand tools•tape measure, pliers Experience with calibration Experience with Edify software Computer literacy Excellent verbal and written communication Physical Requirements to be performed with or without reasonable accommodations: Must be capable of regularly speaking and hearing while utilizing hands to control or manipulate objects. Must be capable of seeing close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. Must be willing and capable of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling or reaching above the shoulders. Must be willing and physically capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be willing and capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long period of time. Must be able to make general decisions requiring judgement and perform activities requiring sustained concentration. Must be able to work extended hours and rotational schedules. Must be comfortable working around pressurized systems and hydrocarbons. Must be able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
