Shape the Next Generation of Welders Sun City Welding Academy, LLC is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Welding Instructors in El Paso, Texas . We are seeking experienced welders who can teach across multiple welding modalities and help prepare students for real-world welding careers.

Position Type:

Full-Time or Part-Time The Welding Instructor will provide classroom and hands-on instruction in

SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW

, plate welding, pipe welding, structural welding, fabrication, and related industrial trade skills. Instructors will train students in multiple welding positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead, 5G, and 6G , while reinforcing shop safety, proper PPE, equipment setup, blueprint reading, weld symbols, fit-up, cutting, beveling, tack welding, and certification-style testing readiness. Qualified candidates should have strong hands-on experience in welding, fabrication, pipeline, refinery, construction, or industrial trade environments. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly, coach students effectively, enforce safety standards, document attendance and progress, and model professionalism, punctuality, and quality workmanship. Preferred qualifications include AWS certification, CWI, NCCER-related training, pipefitting credentials, prior teaching experience, or lead welder/supervisory experience.
