Full Job Description Job Summary:
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform Non-Destructive testing both in-lab and in-field using standard methods (MT, UT, PT, ET, RT)
  • Perform destructive testing for Metal, Polymers, Ceramics, Rubber and Elastomers under the direction of the engineering staff
  • Operation and maintenance of specialized equipment in a safe, efficient manner
  • Prepare samples for analysis using polishing, macro etch, and micro etch techniques
  • Raw data entry and analysis
  • Take incoming photos of samples
  • Conduct first-level preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment used for testing.
  • Assist in maintaining
ISO 17025
calibration standards and laboratory maintenance
  • Performs other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Comfortable working in an engineering-driven environment.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools (saws, drills, grinders)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair minor electrical/mechanical machines
  • Basic computer skills required for data entry
Credentials and Experience:
  • Level II NDT Certifications in RT (Radiographic Examination) required.
UT, PT, MT, ET
certifications a plus.
  • Supporting OJT Logged to support certifications
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience working in a laboratory environment
Special Requirements:
  • Willing to travel up to 25% for field inspection
  • Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by Business Manager.
  • Sitting, standing, some lifting and construction laborer work, including lifting and carrying product is required.
