Level II NDT Technician - RT / PT / MT / UT Odessa, TX Job Details Full-time $30 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Radiographic testing technique Non-destructive testing Regulatory compliance Non-destructive testing experience (1-2 years) Mid-level Inspection reporting and documentation Non-destructive testing experience (3-5 years) High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving ASME codes & standards Workplace health and safety regulatory compliance Full Job Description About TWINS Industrial Services TWINS Industrial Services provides Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) services to oil & gas operators throughout the Permian Basin. We operate under a structured Written Practice aligned with industry standards and maintain a strong focus on radiation safety, compliance, and quality field execution. We are seeking a qualified NDT Technician who meets the requirements to be certified as a Company Level II under our Written Practice. Position Summary The NDT Technician will perform and evaluate RT, UT, MT, and PT examinations in accordance with company procedures, client specifications, and applicable codes (ASME, API, etc.). The technician must be capable of operating independently in the field while maintaining strict compliance with radiation safety regulations. Minimum Qualification Requirements Candidates must meet the experience, training, and examination requirements necessary to be certified as a Company Level II under TWINS' Written Practice. Documented training hours and OJT sufficient for Level II certification in RT, UT, MT, and PT (RT Required). Current Texas Radiographer Certification. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. Ability to pass drug screen and background check. Strong radiation safety knowledge. Key Responsibilities Perform industrial radiography using gamma sources (Ir-192). Set up and secure exposure devices in accordance with regulatory requirements. Conduct UT thickness measurements. Perform PT and MT inspections per procedure. Interpret and evaluate results to applicable acceptance criteria. Maintain accurate field reports and documentation. Maintain source accountability and daily utilization logs. Follow all radiation safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Represent TWINS professionally at client job sites.
