Corrosion Technician Flint Hills life insurance, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), relocation assistance United States, Wisconsin, Junction City May 20, 2026 Your Job Flint Hills Resources is seeking a Corrosion Technician for our Junction City, WI location. In this role, you will help support the integrity and reliability of FHR pipeline, tank, and station assets through corrosion prevention, inspection, maintenance, and repair activities. You will collect and analyze data related to cathodic protection, internal corrosion, and coatings while partnering with field personnel, contractors, customers, and internal teams to support safe and reliable operations. This role is a great fit for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys problem solving, and can work both independently and collaboratively in a hands-on field environment. Strong communication, organization, and computer skills are important, along with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Relocation assistance may be considered for qualified candidates. This role comes with a fully equipped company work truck, technician tools, and uniforms. This role also offers a flexible 9/80's work schedule, meaning there is the potential for every other Friday off, depending on workload. What You Will Do Perform inspection, maintenance, and repair activities for corrosion control systems supporting pipelines, tanks, and station facilities Support the corrosion prevention and integrity of FHR assets within the assigned area Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to cathodic protection, internal corrosion, and coating systems Initiate, coordinate, and manage remediation projects related to corrosion control and asset integrity Partner with other areas of the business to support corrosion maintenance and reliability efforts as needed Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers Follow all safety rules, regulations, and procedures while promoting a strong and positive safety culture Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Valid Driver's License NACE certified Cathodic Protection Tester (Level 1) One plus years of pipeline or pipeline corrosion control experience / or 2-year technical college degree Requires travel of up to 25% of the time with overnight stays Able to meet physical requirementsPhysical Requirements:
Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, reach, handle, bend, twist, climb, and balance; to occasionally sit, kneel, crouch, and crawl Ability and willingness to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (for example: hard hat, safety glasses, fire retardant clothing, respirator, safety work boots, etc. as required) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (with frequent carrying of up to 25 pounds) Is able to respond to audio alarms, or other loud noises that would indicate a safety concern Must be able to communicate hazardous conditions and other dangers Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts, work in wet or humid conditions (non-weather) and outdoor weather conditions, work in high, precarious places and work around fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals What Will Put You Ahead NACE Certified Internal Corrosion Technologist NACE Certified Coating Inspector CIP (Level 1) NACE Certified (CP2) Cathodic Protection Technician Previous Allegro/PCS experience This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
