MIL-STD-271
strongly preferred Strong understanding of radiographic inspection techniques and defect evaluation Ability to interpret results and determine pass/fail compliance based on specifications and codes Good communication and computer skills Willingness to grow technical and leadership skills in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Radiographic Technician Level II Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturer of metal castings for the military and aerospace industries, is seeking a Radiographic Technician Level II to join their team in Milwaukee, WI. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Stable, established company experiencing strong growth Opportunity to work in aerospace and military manufacturing Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 401(k) with 3% company match at 6% contribution Profit sharing program Paid holidays and vacation Educational assistance and employee support programs Relocation assistance available Opportunity for technical advancement in NDT field Key Responsibilities Perform and manage radiographic (X-ray) inspection operations on castings and components Select appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and digital imaging methods Process and analyze digital radiographic images for defect detection Interpret inspection results and determine compliance with customer specifications and industry standards Prepare inspection documentation, reports, and certifications Review incoming customer orders to determine proper X-ray processing requirements Maintain radiographic inspection areas, equipment, and process integrity Keep accurate inspection records and process logs Participate in Nadcap accreditation activities Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives within NDT operations Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and certified NDT professional with strong radiographic inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. This individual should be motivated to grow technically and take on increasing leadership responsibilities within a high-quality, regulated industry. Education & Experience Post-secondary education in NDT or a technical field preferred RT Level II certification required Experience with digital radiography (DDA) protocols or certification is a plus
