Job Description

Electromagnetic pulse (EMP) Surveillance Testing Electromagnetic interference/compatibility (EMI/C, EMI, EMC) TEMPEST Radio Frequency (RF) cosite Electrical bonding Nuclear radiation - develop hardening approaches, test plans, test conduct, and analyses showing compliance of avionics to: Neutron fluence/displacement damage (DD) Total Ionizing Dose (TID) Single Event Effects (SEE)/ Ionizing Dose Rate Upset/Latch-up/Burnout SEE circumvention Electromagnetic pulse (EMP) Nuclear Blast / nuclear thermal effects Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of relevant experience OR; 0 years of experience with a Master's Degree in STEM discipline Must have an active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs Experience in performing data analysis Experience with LabView and/or MATLAB Active in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (with a focus on RF, microwave, integrated circuits, photonics, or communication systems) or Bachelor's Degree in Physics Experience as an Electromagnetic Environmental Effects engineer (E3 engineer) Previous experience applying
MIL-STD-461/ MIL-STD-464
requirements allocation, test procedure development, test execution, or test reporting Experience in any of the following: RF modeling tools such as FEKO, cosite analysis, low level EMP testing, shielding effectiveness testing, EMC Safety-of-flight testing, or nuclear radiation effects testing Understanding of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects or Nuclear Hardness impacts in hardware and assemblies within aircraft Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
